Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly with the clinic. Some extended health plans require a physician referral before they will reimburse acupuncture or TCM services, so it is worth checking your plan before your appointment.

Is treatment covered by extended health benefits?

Many extended health plans in BC include acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. Coverage, annual limits and documentation requirements depend on your individual plan. Please confirm with your insurer, or call us and we can explain what your receipt will include.

What does treatment cost, and how do I pay?

Acupuncture, Tuina and cupping are $110 for 60 minutes, $85 for 40 minutes and $75 for 30 minutes. A TCM consultation without herbs is $70, and herbal prescriptions are $70 per visit. The Vancouver office accepts cash, cheque or e-transfer and provides receipts for extended health claims. Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
